Markets :

  • NIkkei up, HSI down (the or at least one of the contrarian trade for 2024 is China eq), other equity markets awaiting U.S CPI, Speculators have built the largest Nasdaq long position in history according to CFTC data

  • U.S NatGas (was on the lows) but has now rallied nearly 50% since mid Dec

  • USDJPY regained 145 pretty easily, USD a little firmer ahead of U.S CPI, a slightly firmer print is the risk with positioning long risk, bonds and short USD still from Dec

  • 10's UST' 4% - 3.80-4.10 range last few weeks

  • BTC market will get its SEC approval, most likely, but the ramp up is probably most likely already done - let's see the aftermath/price action of the ETF approval
