#NDVA huge number & 'decelerating revenue growth' / U.S & UK talks : Tax on unrealized gains / U.S PCE tom

  • Nvidia : huge number again, seems it ''failed to live up to investor hopes'', Why ? let's look into the microscope : ''hypergrowth and margins maybe topping out over next few quarters''...net profit margin moved down slightly to 55% in Q2 from a record 57% in Q1 (1st decline in its profit margin since Q2 2022), forecasts Q2 2025 marked the first quarter of decelerating revenue growth for #NVDA since forecast Q4 2023, and guided for further deceleration in later on next year, 'the smallest earnings beat over the past 6 quarters''

  • Super Micro Computer Inc.’s 10-K delay. The San Jose, California based-company’s shares plunged 19% after it said it will delay filing its annual financial disclosures and will need additional time to assess its internal controls

  • Google has paid Apple around $120 billion since 2010 to be the default search engine on every iPhone, iPad, and Mac. According to Goldman Sachs, around $20 billion was paid just last year alone

  • Fears of rise in UK capital gains tax trigger selling ‘frenzy’. Wealth managers report upswing in activity as investors position themselves ahead of October Budget

  • Kamala Harris proposes 25% tax on unrealized gains for high-net-worth individuals, risk that it can come into UK budget too (lacking details for now but plenty of talks)

Trump budget proposals would spike deficits 5 times more than Harris (cnbc.com) Gold should stay well bid in this scenario / USDollar under pressure still etc
