Markets :
  • The SDEX, which is a measure of long put SPY demand, is at an all time low. DowJones up 1% for 7th straight day, which is longest winning streak in nearly 2years, strong big banks earnings report and Ch.Schwab/KRE, regionals continue to rally.. >>> Netflix, IBM and TSLA fans will be up till after the close today for earnings

  • SPX500 - all the way back (chart below)

  • The trade-weighted Euro is hitting new all-time-highs (EER-41 BBG) >>> which may well become and issue sooner or later - again. USDTRY all time highs again 27 lev, overall in FXLAND yesterday crossjpy's bounced higher as Ueda appears to be in no hurry

  • German yields were a little softer on Knot yesterday (inflation plateauing), Ueda in Japan also came in with dovish comments (JPY weakened), US sales didn't really move much UST's, although yields a little softer on overall signs of 'lower inflation, imported Chinese deflation' etc and finally this morning, 2y UK yields down about 25bps after inflation data, back below 5% - good news!

  • Crude WTI $75, seems well on its way to 80+

  • European natural gas prices fall as traders weigh rising storage levels and increased flows from top producer Norway
